Three days, around 130 guests and countless information. A review.
Around 130 guests, mostly customers and suppliers, took part in the Agathon Technology Days 2019 from 8th to 10th May. Very pleasing was the high number of international visitors, especially from East and Southeast Asia, who did not want to miss this event despite the long travelling time.
The first day of the event was dedicated to guide and centering systems for die and mold making, while day two focused on machines, technologies and software for processing hard and super-hard materials. The Technology Days 2019 were rounded off with a day for the company’s supply partners, where visitors were able to gain an insight into, among other things, the clocked flow assembly introduced at the beginning of the year and to discuss other aspects of lean manufacturing practiced at Agathon.
In his welcome speech, Agathon CEO Michael Merkle highlighted the importance of dialogue in the customer-supplier relationship. “The more constructive the dialogue, the better suppliers understand the needs and challenges of their customers and the better are the corresponding solutions”, Michael Merkle summed it up. The next Technology Days are scheduled for 2021.
