In just two years, we have achieved a major milestone in our digital transformation and implemented "Work from anywhere". A major milestone, as all our employees in production can now also be reached digitally. This makes our communication even more efficient and seamless, which also strengthens our global collaboration.
In 2021, we embarked on the exciting and intensive journey to the «Digital Agathon». Our successes so far are impressive. We have successfully implemented 18 digital projects with 39 dedicated employees. We have been supported by external project managers and partner companies. We are proud of what we have been able to achieve in this short time. Our major milestone in the digital transformation «work from anywhere» is now a reality and we can successfully position ourselves as a digital employer.
Paperless as the basis
With «work from anywhere» we not only support working from home. Our employees can easily access the Agathon system from anywhere in the world and work on their projects without any restrictions. Sounds simple, but many sub-projects were necessary to be able to offer this service. Like paperless working. Again to be able to say goodbye to paper, we introduced the digital expense process, digital time recording and the digital invoicing process. Microsoft Teams and electronic signatures have been introduced throughout the company. We even removed production orders from the workbench.
Digital manufacturing
Exactly. You read that right. Because we took a close look at the transition to a paperless company. We even took a close look at the paper documents in production and removed them from the workshop. Work statuses can be called up in real time and nothing gets lost. Our production employees are now all digitally accessible and equipped with smartphones.
