As of April 1, 2018 Agathon in Isreal will be represented by Shalhevet Ltd. The agreement was signed during the GrindTec 2018 in Augsburg. This agreement is exclusive to the machinery division including spare and wear parts for Agathon machines. The standard parts (guide elements) however will continue to be represented by Zilka in Azoor.
Shalhevet Ltd was founded in 1976 by Benajahu Levin and is well known within Israeli industry. Shalhevet Ltd is located in Ra’anana, approximately 20 kilometers north of Tel Aviv. The area is also known as the “Silicon Wadi” for its economic strength and high density of high-tech companies.
Today’s General Manager Noam Levin, who sees this as further proof of his company’s strength, is enthusiastic about the affiliation: “With Agathon, Shalhevet wins another top brand in the Israeli market.” Agathon CSO Daniel Felber is also looking forward to the collaboration: “Shalhevet will be a very competent partner for our existing and future customers. The cooperation will also enable us to capitalize on the potential in the growth market of Israel,” says Felber.
