In the beginning there was no logo, just a name. They gave it a French touch. After all, Agathon was largely active for the watch-making industry in French-speaking Switzerland.

Agathon S.A. Fabrique de Machines Soleure was the name of the Solothurn machine factory in the founding years. Shortly afterwards, at the end of the 1920s, a real word and figurative trademark of the Agathon company, designed in the style of the time, was created. The all-enclosing circle soon disappeared again and was replaced by a distinctive logo without frills, whose typography was hardly to change until today. Later, the color red was added as a distinctive feature, as a line to the right of the lettering. This logo was designed by Claudia Pfluger; the wife of the then company head Jürg Pfluger was a visual designer. A few years ago, the red line was integrated into the word mark.
